BK, have you thought about getting some inexpensive Birkenstock-type sandals that you don't have to tie to wear for such occasions as moving your car? They can be quite comfortable and very convenient.

I had a pair of what they used to call thongs before that word took on a whole new meaning, but one of them has a broken strap so I can't wear them - I keep meaning to get a pair of what they now call flip-flops.

I don't like the part that goes in between the toes. I had a pair of Birkenstocks for years, until they finally just wore out. Last year, I bought a pair of Pali Hawaii Jesus Buckle Sandal (that's the actual name of the sandals...although I have no idea what a Jesus buckle is), but they're pretty comfy and fairly inexpensive.

Now, the comments say that you should buy a size smaller, but the ones I got are a little smaller, so I should've gotten the next size up. They're just the tiniest bit too small, but still comfortable.

For me, a half size larger would be better than a whole size larger, but they don't seem to have half sizes. $:-\$
