I slept quite poorly.  Perhaps it's the nerves in an uproar.  I think today's orchestra reading will go well, but there's always that thought - I've had it as long as I've been working - that by noon, I'll be out and Jonathan Tunick will be called in to replace me.

I was awake every 90 minutes to two hours, and around 2:30, I just lay there like so much fish wondering why I couldn't get back to sleep.  The adrenaline will keep me awake during the rehearsal but I expect to be in bed early tonight, and I will hopefully sleep well.  Unless, of course, I'm sacked by noon.
