At work I received delivery of And then I write the music man. Which has very cool packaging. The cd case is a miniature replica of a the original (I presume) LP case and the cd looks like a miniature LP... It also had a little pamphlet with note

I had to have some ice cream after reading BK's post. I ended up with a scoop of key lime pie that was surprisingly good. The main ice cream tasted of both key lime juice and heavy cream with streaks of buttery graham cracker crumbs in it.

Well, I just bought The Exterminating Angel from Criterion's 1/2-off sale and and The Discreet Charm Of The Bourgeoisie from Amazon. This one is out of print, so I couldn't get it from Criterion.

I got these two because Sondheim's next musical (that he's actually working on!) is based on these two movies. Last year, I recorded them off of TCM and made my own DVDs, but those were just standard-def DVD-Rs. These are officially released DVDs with bonus material!
