I will probably go to 55" when this tv goes out.  I don't think I could go much larger because there is only so far I can get from the screen in my current TV VIEWING situation.

The larger tv helps with reading the subtitles, still they can be a struggle at times.

The average rainfall in February is 4.5".  This year, so far recorded it is over 10".  We are waiting for the final count to see if we have broken a record.

HDMI cables don't support closed captioning from TV broadcasts.  I never understood (or searched to find out) why it doesn't.

I am glad we don't have HDMI cables ;)

Acorn tv provided closed caption which is often out of sync.  Last night we watched MISS FISCHER and I was delighted the captions were in sync.

One of the studios had a Waltz Under the Stars program in the park tonight.

It was fun, but I found myself having to do the follower's part, which I've been learning, except with Joy as the leader. Dancing with strange men in a park is not how I had pictured how I would spend my evening.

Still, the instructor complimented my ability to follow and to figure out how to make the leader do better.

So many responses  running through my mind....all of which have been deleted... Glad you had fun!!

Finished with my viewing.  Heard some of Cindy's audio book stuff - really fun - but we have to redo some stuff, especially the last of her stuff, as she was clearly tired after five hours straight - otherwise just a few misinterpretations that need to be clarified, same with the lead guy.

Watching Shirley McLain on James Corbin, some young actress (who I do not recognize) just gave a little speech to Shirly thanking her for being a trail  blazer and expressing her admiration for  Ms McLain....to which Shirley replied , " Are those your real eyelashes?"
