Random question

If you a changing lanes and the car behind you decides to speed up and try  and pass you before you finish said lane change and side swipes your car is it wise to tell the responding police officer "there was no one there and then suddenly there was a car there ,  he dropped from the sky"

Also would you advise repeating said phrase to your insurance company?

DR ELMORE - both of your posts are food for thought to be sure.....  The big question is:  Can I get a cast that can sing, dance, and do comedy?

And I think the good thing about the show is - it moves so fast and is so loud that there is really no time to think about it until on the way home......

No word from Joshie, but I had a nice talk with the Moonshine & Mistletoe producer who is not the problem.  One of the creatpprs is a dreadful backseat driver who's being a regular pain. I am not happy but we are all of us stuck, yjanks to his behavior.

So, it looks as though March 27 and 28, I'll be in a studio with a bluegrass band.

DR Elmore, I'm so glad to hear you're busy, but fear that we won't be seeing much of you when we're in town March 22-29...

I'm up, I'm up - took awhile to fall asleep despite the Ny-Quil, but I think I got nine hours of sleep.

Better than being in the studio with a ukulele band.

Went to a fundraiser this morning called Empty Bowls. The San Antonio Pottery Guild and the Glass Blowers Society get together and make bowls that you can buy. All the money goes to SAMMinistries, which is a homeless project in town that does some great stuff.

So, you get the empty bowl and then you get a coupon for each bowl you buy. Then you can get a generous cup of soup for each coupon.

I had some roasted beet-coconut soup that was killer. Plus, Cream of mushroom with beef tips and creamy Italian soup that had chicken and tomatoes in it.

I used the rest of the coupons on the two soups they had in the to-go line, which was chicken vegetable and vegetarian vegetable.

And I got some nice Christmas presents from among the bowls.

I would not use that explanation with the police or the insurance company.

I've taken all my preventatives, watched the rest of Jurassic Park 3 whilst relaxing, and have shaved.  Shortly I shall shower and then be on my way to The Federal to catch the end of the band rehearsal, do sound check, and then do the show.  And I got the very sweetest e-mail from Rupert just now - very touching.
