Kritzerland at Sterling’s 75 was wonderful! Mark and I have been arguing for weeks over whether or not The Partridge Family's "Echo Valley - 26809" would be sung or not. I was sure it wouldn't, Mark was sure it would. He won. We were thrilled to hear it and even more thrilled that Bruce himself sang it. And on top of that, "Terminal" is one of our very favorite Guy Haines songs, so we were very happy all around. On the way home Mark suggested that a mash-up could be done of the songs "Beef Lo Mein" and "Chinese Food in Bed".

DR GEORGE that same thing happened to a cousin of mine. He just jiggled the steering wheel a bit and the car started......I hope you have an easy fix with your car.

But I do recall an imaginative movie (called Alligator), about a father who flushes his kid's pet alligator down the toilet, and it grows in the sewage system and wreaks havoc. i recall that it was quite intentionally very funny at times amid the terror.

I agree Going My Way wasn't a best picture, and I too have watched it a few times. I really don't have any interest in watching English Patient again though if Keith wanted to I would not refuse.

I've picked up my car from the auto shop and it was the starter. It cost about $400. I've paid more for other things, but since it's the first time that I can remember replacing the starter on this almost 19 year old car, I'll probably never have to replace it again...EVER!

Thanks. That's it, for now (an Avenue Q reference). I do have some other issues that will need to be addressed eventually: a new clutch, a front-end alignment, an oil pan leak (although, it's never leaked oil onto the ground) and there's something about the lower ball joint. So...one step at a time.

Because of what I read I thought he was rather ill and he didn't look all that good either. Considering we are about the same age, my number of years ago was not intended to go back that far
