Tom (and anyone else interested in the traffic challenges of southwest Washington), Diverging Diamond Interchange comes to Washington State.

WSDOT will build the state’s first Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) at Interstate 5 and State Route 510 in Lacey. DDI’s are a proven way to move more people and reduce the potential for collisions by reducing conflict points. This project is scheduled to begin in the 2018 construction season.

At work we got an e-mail from our facilities manager about this, but I just noticed that the video was posted back in September.  Anyway Tom, once this is finished, it'll be so much easier for you to get to the Hawks Prairie Restaurant!

It is not a bad thing.  I enjoy canned chili (or lasagna) once in a while.  I am sure that the sodium and the preservatives make it a poor nutritional choice, but once in a while is not horrible.

Yes, my mouth has healed enough to actually chew a burger.  And yes, I am feeling pretty good.

It is not a bad thing.  I enjoy canned chili (or lasagna) once in a while.  I am sure that the sodium and the preservatives make it a poor nutritional choice, but once in a while is not horrible.

I know!  But construction is not supposed to start until next year, so it's probably not going to be done for a couple more years.

In the unbelievable department - the gal who's converting the book to an eBook for me found problems in the galley - I skimmed the beginning and the end and signed off on it, as did Grant because a finished PDF can't be changed other than them dropping in the copyright page.  Only something got screwed up and in one section there are missing pages and repeated pages - it's a ten-page section - so I've written very strong e-mails to the publisher design person and we'll get it fixed tomorrow and quickly but they have to pull this from the printers now.  Unbelievable.
