I just got a text from a TAO board member working on their production of 1984, asking if I would be able to help set up the sound board before my union board meeting at 2:30.  I said that I can, so now I have to get ready for my union board meeting much earlier.  It shouldn't take too long, but I also need to shower and get dressed and eat.

Have a good day, all!

Well, it turns out that my union's board meeting is NEXT WEEK! :o I arrived at the union office and waited for a bit.  There was only one other car in the parking lot and that person (Nicole) was also on our board.  She got out and we started talking and then we realized that the e-mails that we received had the subject of "Meeting on March 19," but within the body of the e-mail message was "the meeting is on the 26th, right?"  Several people had confirmed, and even Nicole had confirmed, but evidently forgotten.  I know that I never noticed the specified date in the e-mail body...just the subject line. ::)

For the most part.  When I left at about 2:15, it was mostly complete.  I did come back in the evening and we worked on it a bit more.

Since we pretty much got most of the sound board set up, I didn't go back to the theater after the board meeting that didn't happen.  I decided to lunch at Wendy's.  I ate (grilled chicken BBQ salad) and read my Kindle ("Hidden Figures").

When I was finished at Wendy's, I went to Costco to get some water for the theater's concessions and for the actors.  I went home after that since it was too early to get back to the theater for the board's feeding of the actors and crew.  When I left to get food for the dress rehearsal in the evening, I went to Taco Bell and got the Box of Tacos.  That's what I usually get for these board-provided meals.  I get 6 crunch tacos with beef and 6 soft tacos with beans (there are usually a vegetarian or two in our productions).

It's not too bad.  They usually give a separate packet of dressing, but today, they put the dressing directly on the salad and I didn't get a packet.  I wonder if they were out of them.  I would've liked a little more of the dressing. ;)

When I got to the theater at a little after 6 p.m., I thought that they were going to have a run-through, but they ran act one after I left for my non-existent meeting.  They ran act two, so I at least got to see that.
