Good morning. The turkey is in the oven. That is quite an accomplishment today, seeing how my arm is in a sling.

You did hurt it :(  Having worn slings a few times I really feel for people in them, not fun.

While waiting for Keith to pick me after my appointment I went for a walk, saw some cards and realized I had not mailed an important card yesterday.  I purchased the card but they didn't have any stamps.  Fortunately our mailman was at our box putting in the mail.  He said he would wait while I ran inside for stamps.  We are lucky as he is super nice and super reliable.

When he is putting the mail in the box while we are waiting he pulls it back out and hands it to us :)

William Katt and a friend were sitting in the booth next to me.  And D.C. Fontana in the booth across - she finished Thrill Ride and loved it.  She found only one error in the entire book and when she told me what it was I got very irked with myself - but it's something that no one else would notice and even she had to check on it first.  It has to do with a place in Burbank that's no longer what I say it is - who knew?  Apparently no one, including me.  But then again, the character who is saying it might not know either.

I saw Tam Mutu in London a few years ago. He starred in City of Angels and was really great.

Spent the last two hours writing up notes about the new musical, which I'll send later this evening to the writers of the show.  I think I did well - it's all presented very positively.

There are much worse things than being fact checked by someone like D.C. Fontana, MR BK........

Oscar Levant once said the nadir of his career was sitting in the dressing room at 20 Century-Fox and having his grammar corrected by Marilyn Monroe.

Quick, someone take a screenshot.

I got the screenshot, but I have to leave work now and rush to the TAO board meeting, the go from their to rehearsal for The Trip to Bountiful.  I'll be able to post it when I get home tonight, unless someone else can post a screenshot more quickly.

Yesterday when we returned home there was a strong chemical/turpentine like smell.  It was gone when we left this morning and returned with a vengeance by the time we came home.  In fact it had permeated into our condo.

A call to the property manager, who rushed right over, it was discovered to be from work a neighbor was doing.  The entire garage smells but we seem to be the only lucky ones to have it inside.  The manager worked at reducing the effects in the garage and we aired out our place.  Thank goodness it was better after our long walk.

DR Jennifer you would not have been happy ;)

Ticket problem resolved. But I need to be at the theater 30 minutes ahead of time so I may have to leave brunch early.

I confirmed our 1:30 reservation today  so I am hopeful we will be done  by 1 giving us plenty of time to get to the theatre

Well, I'm about as packed as I can be until tomorrow morning.  In the process I've discovered my black leather zipped travel "office" is missing.  Richard gave it to me when I started adjunct teaching and didn't have an office.  I'm pretty sure I had it in Atlanta, but can't find it here at home.
