All day at he festival, tonight at the dinner, and even after the awards people kept coming up to us and telling us that, hands down, we were the best show at the festival.

I only had a cup of chicken soup and a bagel.  Then a little low-cal ice cream, and one scrambled egg, so pretty good calorie-wise.

At least we can say that we were the audience favorite.

Bittersweet, a wonderful feeling which can make it harder to lose.

By the way, the winning show, also from Tacoma, was Tacoma Musical Playhouse's (first Act only) THE ADDAMS FAMILY.  Seems appropriate considering the Topic of the Day.

Tonight, one of the young actors from the runner's up show said to me tonight that after watching our show last night, they all sat around for an hour and a half just talking about how incredible our show was.

I've been at home all day just watching TV and not doing laundry.  I now need to leave to go to my parents', then it's off to the theater.

Be back later.

I'm home and fed. :)

As for tonight's theatrical endeavors, The Trip to Bountiful had a house about half filled, and they enjoyed it.
