I got a special treat in the mail today, a new Anthony Trollope novel. It's actually the last of the Pallisers novels, but when it was originally published, they cut half of the manuscript out. The restored, full-length version is now in print. I just need to finish Proust now before I can get to the Trollope. I'm less than 40 pages from the end of Vol. 5, The Prisoner. Only two more volumes to go.

I'm also more than halfway through listening to Bruce Springsteen read his autobiography. Wonderful.

Congrats on the new acquisition, John.  I've never read any Anthony Trollope novel (nor any Proust), but I did find THIS article from 2014 about the publication of the restored version.  It all sounds pretty interesting.

Starting The Fantasticks. There is only one version on the disc, so I don't think this is the director's cut.

I think that first Folio edition cost more than $200, so I couldn't afford it.

Yikes!  That's expensive!  Not for me, at all.

And on that note (A-flat), I'm finally leaving work.  I actually finished about 45 minutes ago, but started surfing the net and lost track of time. ::) But now...it's time to head home.

Be back later.
