I was having some trouble walking and standing for long periods of time.....so I passed the director ship of The Show Whose Name I Shall Not Mention on to someone else.

I hated to do that, but I think it was for the best.  More tests at the hospital on Friday.

I am not sure if I am leaving the Board of Directors or not, they have asked me stay.....we shall see.  I might LIKE not having to drive 70 miles a day during the summer and just enjoying myself.

Lot of strange news today. Aaron Hernandez committed suicide. Bill O'Reilly committed career suicide, well, one level of it.

Are there any Iron Chef watchers here? A longtime San Antonio chef is now competing. Jason Dady survived Sunday.

Very strange.  I'd read about both of those stories.

Well this is pretty cool!  I don't know if it had been posted here, but it was posted on the Cast Recordings group on FB that two movies, "Tom Sawyer" and "Huckleberry Finn," both with song scores by the Sherman Brothers, are going to be released on Blu-ray in July!

I am home from City Center.  Joshie was most helpful with today's issues, and I think we've solved the problem.

I took out most of the fig tree so the new growth would stand a better chance of survival. The peach tree now has at least four blossoms on it.

I'm really glad these are being released.  Would you believe I've never seen either one of these films, and am only a little bit familiar with the TOM SAWYER music?  Why, of course you would!

I think I said this already, but I was surprised at how lovely the TOM SAWYER score really is when I played the new CD.

Had a brief visit, then had two tuna sandwiches.  Now I'll go pick up the new shaver.

My question for ASK BK DAY:

Is there a specific film that you would like to do a DVD/BluRay commentary for?

Well, I must be off!  I'm going to see The Secret Garden at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre with my sister and her boyfriend!  Daisy Egan (who won the Tony Award for playing Mary Lennox) is playing Martha in this production!  AND it also stars Larry's new friend, Tam Mutu!

Be back later!

Enjoy, DR George!    This is the same production I saw at the Shakespeare Theatre in DC.  Michael Xavier, who is now playing Joe Gillis in Sunset Boulevard on Broadway, played the brother (Nigel?) now being played by Tam Mutu.
