I suppose I should have included DEATHTRAP. However, although I think it is an extremely well-written play, I also find it extremely predictable. When I saw it it for the first time on Broadway, I knew exactly where it was going before it got there. My friends, however, were completely fooled, so maybe it is just me.

Still, I always wanted to play the lead in the show. One time I saw that auditions were being held the next day, so I called a fellow actor, with whom I had done the play SLEUTH, and talked him into auditioning with me. The next day, we went to audition, we read over the scene, and then we went in and read for it. After we finished, we were told that we would not be cast, because they were not interested in using actors who had obviously already done the show before.

Nope. I was talking on the phone to my friend Margo who has been in the hospital since yesterday because of a gall bladder atrack! She's doing well for now, but sometime today it'll be taken out. $:-\$
