Well, you've read the notes, the notes found the pitch, and now it is time for you to post until the pitchy cows come home.

I just did some research on Google, TCB - according to one site the best cure if you think you're getting a cold or sore throat is finishing a recently begun book.  :)

Topic of the Day:

Looking at Richard Boone's IMDb listing, I think the only movie of his that I've seen is The Hobbit.

Thanks, BK.  I have a book that I just started.  I will try that.

Nope.  Not really the kind of movies I'm interested in watching...at least, by myself.

My favorite Richard Boone movie is BIG JAKE, since it was directed by my publicity client, George Sherman, and co-starred my future client, Christopher Mitchum.

Oh, and John Wayne was in it, too.

 ;)

Well, the show op'ned.  Oh yes it did.

So did the fire alarm system.  Twice.

In spite of all best intentions and a week of rehearsals in which all went swimmingly (see what I did there?), the fog machines set off the alarms which had supposedly been turned off in the auditorium (with fire marshall's approval).  The audience was told to stay where the hell they were, and about twenty minutes later the show resumed.

When it went off again later, we played, sang, and acted right over it, and they got it shut off within a couple of minutes.

The upshot is that they're going to have to shut it down for the whole school because the fog can travel.

Today's a long one with two (count 'em) shows and a quick dinner provided in between.  It's not quite 8:30 in the a.m. and I've got less than three hours of rest before I'm on my way down there.
