My favorite throat spray is from Gaia Herbs, a highly-respected herb grower. It tastes awful, but it REALLY WORKS! And the taste dissipates quickly. Available from Amazon. A bottle lasts a long time.

Has there been any news of DR JRand66?

He is home from the hospital.   That is all I know.

My wife, Sandy, and I celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary today.

Time really flies when you're having fun.

A Very Happy Anniversary to Druxy and Sandy!! :D

Tonight, Becky and I are joining several members of my book group to see Middletown Lyric Theatre's production of "The Book Club Play."  Should be fun.

It sounds like fun.

DR TCB is it Alaska you don't want to cruise to or one of many other reasons I can imagine?

In the finale episode of "Feud", Joan Crawford died of cancer, but Wikipedia says she died of a heart attack, and mentions nothing of cancer. So, which is it?

Her IMDb bio says heart attack.

Well, I must now be leaving.  Today, as part of Olympia's semi-annual Arts Walk, there will be the Procession of the Species.  I'll be volunteering at the WCPA (mostly just for crowd control), so I'll get to see it since it walks right by the front of the Center!

Be back later

Back from auditions - some talented folk but no one who's really right for the show.

Bruce, you mentioned that LACC has two theatres--the small, 99-seat theatre where LA NOW AND THEN played and a big, 300-seat space where the new Sherman Bros show will go. Given that the show is sponsored by LACC and you're not paying rent it's just a matter of which show fits that space better, yes? Assuming it's available, of course. Or are there other considerations?

And, yes, we DO need our Jrand.

I'm glad he left his directing gig and hope that he can recover at his own pace, with no pressure.

I cleaned and partly reorganized a small portion of my apartment. This needs to be done many times over--but not today.

I'm REALLY finding this hard to believe - I mean REALLY - but Jrand is posting like crazy on Facebook right now - without so much as a visit here.  I'm just gonna say, no comprende.  At ALL.

...as I was saying......I was thinking exactly what to post here at HHW because we are all much better friends than just the casual acquaintances on Book Face.

I spent three days in hospital....came  home today at one p.m.  They are building up my blood for some surgery that will happen in the next couple of weeks.

I can't say I'm not concerned, but I also know that thousands of people have had the same procedure and are living full lives.

It's not a particularly interesting or important subject. I  do thank everyone    who mentioned me while I was gone....I missed everyone,  I didn't have my phone, so I was living in the dark ages.

Vibes to all  who need them, I'll be around for awhile, and will keep you informed when I go in....and when I get out......

I had read some FB comments by Jack Randall Earles.

And then there was the ADMONITION.

And I have come here to see the return to the fold.

Welcome HOME, Jack!

I, for one, am interested in learning just what procedure you are being prepped for.

But....in your own time....

I hope Ron is now at or close to 100% better.

Ron is still, as we say down south, a bit down in the mouth, but still recovering.   Still some nose-blowing.  Sneezing has abated.  Am having a restful, relaxing day.
