Tony nominations are as mean-spirited as they were in the year of Big. They could have nominated five shows and didn't. I'm surprised A Bronx Tale was entirely shut out. It was very entertaining. Not surprised Amelie was shut out. It wasn't entertaining. But they also ignored Anastasia and Bandstand, which both had reviews that ranged from raves to mixed but more positive than not.

Tuesday morning greetings!  I've had a sore throat since yesterday afternoon, which I hope is allergy-induced.  We finally got all our screens in and slept Sunday night with all the windows open.  Love the fresh air, but I suspect we get a lot of pollen and such, too.  We closed the windows last night because it's turned cold again.

Well, FJL, I saw "Bandstand" Sunday night.   I enjoyed what I saw of it.  Unfortunately I was exhausted and fell in and out of sleep.   I just couldn't keep  my eyes open at one point.  I was so mad at myself.
