I used the hairdryer to pretty much dry my clothes and to warm up. I changed to my last pair of clean socks, aside from the ones I am wearing home. My shoes are still wet. I have another pair except I prefer not to pack wet shoes. My tennis shoos will dry by the time we arrive in Newark before we transfer home.

Smart move and I am glad it worked. Sleep is a great stress reducer.

It is usually worse at home than at the beginning of the trip when everything new and exciting. I don'the have much time to bounce back before we leave again for our 50th high school reunion. I would have preferred another week to recover.

I am home from the doctor. My cholesterol and blood pressure are excellent. I've lost seven lbs and she's giving me three months to get my blood sugar levels down. Otherwise, more meds.

I somehow let myself get roped into playing two (2) rehearsals of that very least favorite next Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Very careless of me. I've found that book the most difficult of Sondheim's music to play without real study and practice.
