I'm up, I'm up - about eight-and-a-half hours of sleep with some of the weirdest dreams EVER, one after another.

I'll have to get around to listening to the Bette one of these days.  In the meantime, based on DR Elmore's eloquent reminder, I shall take out BK's tomorrow and have a really nice listen.

No one's free for dinner, so I will stay here and deal with Guys & Dolls scores. I'll head downtown around 5:30. stop in Joshie's office and drop off a score, then had backstage to pester everybody.

Had an hour-long chat with the lyricist of the musical I saw yesterday.  She was very receptive and understanding of everything I said because we've worked together before and she knows it's never criticism and comes for a positive place.

Listening to music, will now do some work on the Sherman Brothers show - in yet another tricky section - and then will watch a motion picture entertainment of some sort.

The concert wasn't The Planets after all. It was the youth chorus. They sang some fun songs and closed out after about 85 minutes with an oddly sanitized version of Rhythm of Life. Voices were good.

Got through the tricky section and have moved on to the next tricky section.  The next scene takes place years later - he tells us that in stage direction but we, the audience, aren't told that.  So, I'm trying to build in a montage of some sort - newspaper boys shouting headlines, or maybe projections of newspapers, something - that way the next set can get set up behind the scrim or drop we bring in.

Talked to my sister Linda today. She doesn't have the biopsy results yet but her doctor was fairly sure the mass he removed was merely infection not noticed since surgery she had in that area back in 2014.

She's still tired and sore.

Had some called Cajun nachos--red beans, sausage, crawfish and cheese over chips. Really good with a splash of Tabasco on top.
