Do you all remember my friend who was fighting cancer last year? Keep him in your thoughts.  I've been lax about my prayers for his health.  He's okay, but I', still scared for him.

Finished "I Still See Elisa."  Before I begin "Camelot," I will make a trip to market.

It's time to get something to eat.

Today's indulgence:  Hamburger with grilled onions and mustard.

DR Ginny, I sent you an email about this June 10 date.

Speaking of June 10 and nearby dates...

I have commitments I cannot get out of -- on June 8 and June 11 -- so I'm sorry to say I won't be able to swing by Middletown during DR Elmore's visit!

I'm not even sure WHEN I'm going over yet, most likely either just before or just after that period of time, so ..... we'll see.

I've sent out invites.  I hope people show up.  I'd hate to feel like Typhoid Mary.

As am I.  It would have been a wonderful midwestern get-together.

I wanted to watch it and totally forgot about it.  And I was home last night, too.  We'll see if it's available through On Demand.

Thanks everyone!  I did get all my staples removed, and the draining tube, so I am free except for the colostomy bag which will be my companion for the rest of my life.

The surgeon also set up a consultation with the doctor for radiation treatments so I guess I will be getting both Radiation & Chemotherapy....which will prevent my travel to DR ELMORE's triumphant Ohio return...but I will be there in SPIRIT.

DR Jrand does it feel better with the staples out & draining tube out?  I imagine they did not feel very good.  I am sorry you will not be able to go to Ohio.  Most important is that you prevent this from returning.

"The man is mine!"

Great quote from Elizabeth in A Place to Call Home about going after the man who raped her daughter.

I'm loving season 4 better than any except season 1.

Otherwise we'd be saying:

And we'd rather ask that of page four.
