Well, I've pretty much decided that my Kindle is lost.  A friend today told me about an app called OfferUp.  I installed it on my phone and registered, and looked for Kindles that are close to where I am.  There were several, but one with a picture of new-ish looking Kindle was asking for only $15 (o.b.o.).  I offered $10 (it was posted a month a go) and the seller accepted my $10 offer!  So, we're going to meet at a Whole Foods in Tacoma on Sunday!  My friend Margo is going to go with me because There's Safety in Numbers (a The Boy Friend reference)!

:D

Good luck!

My poor friend, Leslie is a vegetarian who is now (due to her health) forced to have a Diet Plate with a hamburger patty for lunch.  She needs it for the protein and the iron.

It is one of the few things she can find to eat in a restaurant.

She likes oysters, but can only have them rolled in almond flour.  She served them to some friends, using the almond flour, and they said they were the best they had ever had.

If almond flour wasn't so expensive, I would like to try it.

Back from a good rehearsal one and a fun rehearsal two, save for a completely at sea producer who was so confused she simply drove everyone crazy.  My AD has been writing down all the blocking in her big script.  Every time someone forgot something in our review tonight I'd say what's the blocking - she also had our small Samuel French script that had our few changes pencilled in, going back and forth between the two - and every damn time she said no, there was no blocking - I told her it would be in the big script and the answer was always the same, no blocking.  When the AD finally got there towards the end of rehearsal I said rather sternly that she hadn't written down the blocking.  She brought over the big script and there was every single piece of blocking, written clearly.  Infuriating and I am not allowing the producer anywhere near us again until we're all blocked and running the show.

Yikes!  I really hope it gets better sooner rather than later, BK!
