By this point I'm simply assuming the promised Thrill Ride reviews from Vixmom and TCB are never coming.

Actually, I was working on it yesterday.  I am not very good at writing reviews.

I should run to 2nd Avenue and 19th Street this morning.  I'd rather be shot, but if I wait till they open to call and tell them I won;t come in until after June 16th, I could be there.

Getting there vibes for DR ELMORE.

Great notes today....the shows are happening.

When I did DIAL M FOR MURDER - I played Tony and was adequate, I guess - the director was an idiot.  I was watching her block the scene where the murderer comes into the apartment to hide....and she said:  "Now this is where you have to leave the door open so the audience can see you put the key under the stair carpet....."

And I said.....hold your horses, lady!  That's the point of the show, if the audience knows at this point that the key Tony takes from the dead man and puts in Margot's purse is NOT the key to the apartment - you are killing most of the suspense.....

She listened to me, but she was very unhappy.....

Shocking that this is the end of May.  Hell's bells, I haven't even figured out yet where the months of March and April went.

TCB, I don't remember what I said about Room 237 way back whenever, but what I'd say about it now is that some of its observations or "findings" are clever, while others are just way out there and silly.  But by the time I got to the end, I was taking it as a pretty good spoof, a sendup of some of the worst kind of lofty bullshit film analysis -- and, as such, I found it amusing and entertaining enough.  I know some people take it very seriously.  Not me.  But I will give it a second viewing sometime for the halibut.
