Once I realized that my usual Friday night PBS viewing was dumped for what appears to now be their bi-monthly plead for money over must-be-avoided programs, I watched the film Gigi. I had forgotten how wonderful Alan Jay Lerner's screenplay is.

I thought I was going to have to go out for food this morning, but I looked through the fridge and found the tail end of a package of delightful Canadian (style) bacon, to which I've added a couple of over-medium eggs and a damned fine cup of coffee.

In today's WTF category, I went to my pharmacy to pick up my monthly meds. Last year, I had no copays. In Feb, the copays went up to about $32/month. Today, it was $54.23!

So, thank you and eat shit, HIP and the GOPee. It's so much fun watching my rather fixed income no longer cover my existence.

Last night I went up to church to set everything up for this mornings ceremony, polished all the plate ware and the brass altar rails. When I got home around 9 I was absolutely exhausted and went right to sleep
