His funeral is tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.  It is up north of Seattle, but I am going to try and make it there in time.  I don't usually drive much two days in a row, but I think I can make it.

I first met Sandy in September of 1968 when I went to look for a job at the college radio station.  Sandy was the station manager.

He and I went to New York (my first visit) and Washington D.C. together in March of 1969.

Had a wretched sandwich from Panera for lunch - I should have just thrown it in the trash - disgusting.  So, for dinner I stopped at Gelson's and got some seafood salad (calorie friendly) and some shrimps (calorie friendly) and that was my evening snack.  I have to stop eating so much - must start losing weight again.

Thank you.  Keith is basically back to normal though he promised to do his workout slower than usual.  I still am ok.  It is looking more and more like he had food poisoning   We hope so.


I have never known anyone who was happy that they had food poisoning.

Thank you, Jane.  He just went downhill in the last two weeks.  He had just traveled to the East Coast to visit his son in April.  We had lunch together three weeks ago.

He called me around the 19th to say he wasn't doing that well, and he said he was going to go back to the hospital.  He never went home again.
