My friend's retirement party yesterday was most enjoyable.  It was held on the outdoor patio of a favorite restaurant/bar in Norwalk, and was attended by a wonderful mix of people from the school, past school personnel, her bounty of friends from here and there and hither and yon, and you name it.  Fun conversations abounded, good drinks and tasty horse's ovaries were lustily consumed, and a great time was had by all.

The apartment is cleaned up - took all of 4 months - and the little DD gets to have the run of the house again.   After the drug bust of 2/16, little Leo hasn't had the run of the house.  But in that time, he's learned what it is to be house broken - well, about 90% anyway.  So, his pen came down yesterday and we'll see how it goes.
