My friend Paul is hoping that Groundhog Day will still be playing when we go to NY in October. I guess it's doing pretty well so maybe we'll be lucky (though I'm not too fond of the score).

Knowing the score win, I can only say these folks are lucky to have the agent they have - he courts, he badgers, he calls, he cajoles - and he's determined they'll be EGOT club winners - that hasn't happened yet, but I'm telling you the amount of work, time, and energy this guy puts in on their behalf (and his one other client that he gives a fig about) is mind-boggling and, for me, a bit much.

Both The Sound of Music and The King and I are coming to the Kennedy Center this summer. They just had ads for them on TV and I couldn't help but comparing the melodies of Richard Rodgers to those of this year's shows.
