I hope the house deal works out for BK.  It certainly sounds good.  Studio City is so damned lovely, both in and of itself and location-wise, but that writing on the wall is horrendous.  I'm really sorry to see that sh stuff happen.  Or hear it happening.

Have the cretins built a new McMansion on the site of Annette's old house yet?

Interesting article posted by DR JANE last night.

I am glad you found it intetesting.  I found more detailed articles pertaining to studies of why to use the pills for colon cancer patients.   This one was for those who never heard of the pills.

Home from City Center and Joshie visit.  Now, sorting through a week's worth of mail.

TOD: The house I grew up in, three crappy apartments in my very young adult years, and the house we live in now, which we bought as newlyweds.

Topic of the Day (not including off-campus college living...otherwise, add 2 for those).  After I graduated from college, I moved back in with my parents, then when I finally moved out for the last time, I had:

1. Apartment with a roommate, then
2. Apartment by myself, then
3. A room with my sister and niece in their home (that only had one bathroom :P), then
4. Apartment by myself, then
5. Back into the house that I lived in with my sister and niece after my sister bought a new house and moved there (so would this count as a "different abode"? I did move out, live somewhere else, then move back in), then finally
6. My condo

So, depending on how you count, it could be a total five or six or seven or eight places. ;)

Thursday afternoon greetings!  Had a nice coffee visit with my friend Becky, who just returned from a month in Michigan.  Did some errands on the way home, including shopping for refreshments for the book group that's meeting here tonight.  The book we're discussing is The Storied Life of A. J. Fiery and my treats are inspired by those served by the police officer to his book group.

TOD - if you figure my adulthood started when I moved to Middletown right out of grad school, I've lived in 5 places.  My first apartment was half below ground on the front of the building.  When my neighbor moved I took his apartment on the back for the walk-out patio.  From there I moved to a second floor apartment very near the campus where I worked.  When we married I moved into the house Richard had bought several years earlier.  We bought this house in 1988 and I called it "my forever house."

Home from Anaheim and a few days at Disneyland.  Quite doable crowds and wait times.  Good times had by all.

The street view on Google Maps just shows them digging a hole for it, so maybe a picture of the monstrosity will show up in a few weeks.
