I may buy some chicken to sautee - or I may just get something really light like a salad from the salad bar at Gelson's.  We shall see.

TCB or George, have you ever worked at or seen anything at Second Story in Redmond, Washington?  (I hear Redmond is 15 miles from Seattle.)   They seem quite interested in including THE LAST STARFIGHTER musical in their 2018 season, assuming details are worked out, of course.   They'd contacted BK and we referred them to the licensing company.    We wouldn't be involved with the production, but if it's a multi-week run, I'd probably fly out to see it.

I haven't heard of them, Fred.  Hopefully, they're good.  I'd love to see a full production!

That's a great price, BK!

I guess my parody stalker(s) is (are) really and actually back, this time (very sepcifically and narrowly) in the NY Times Metropolitan Diary comments.  There are three posting names who are objecting to the presence of verse in the Times comments on the Metropolitan Diary specifically. And it seems they must be flagging my posts there or something like that.

I suspect the three posting names are acting as a group, since all three of them post with the same typing style, a style which is extremely unusual in the Times comment box (though I guess it's  a style that's fairly normal on Facebook)  - the e.e.cummings no-capital-letters style, as if they're typing quickly and can't be bothered to hit the shift key.

And all three posting names are using the same strange choice of descriptive word, saying I'm "co-opting" the discussion by putting lyrics there [though many more people seem to approve of the lyrics].    None of this would connect to the 2012-and-on cyber stalker, except that that same word ("co-opting") was used by that video guy J Frank when he was complaining bitterly on Stalkin Broadway than I was co-opting threads on Talkin Broadway.

I'm explaining all this here only partly to vent, but partly because I suspect the stalkers are guests here from time to time, so I'd just like it to stop like it did last time on DataLounge.

None of this has any impact on the lyrics showing up elsewhere in the Times comment boxes, as they have for a long time and where my fellow readers (and also an occasional Times reporter) make a point of welcoming the ones they like.

So maybe the thing to do is not to submit comments in verse to the Metropolitan Diary until it gets resolved.

I found out that TAO's 5 Lesbians Eating acQuiche totally sold out last night!  A reviewer came on Friday's opening night and he loved it!  He and another person recorded a podcast that they do together.  I was told that they're giving the show a rave revue!

And what songs are they going to do in the revue? :-)

This dead elevator situation in my apartment is working my last nerve this morning.  I have trash to take to the basement and I cannot cart it down stairs alone.  I could maneuver the lift.

Last night I had a long dream about a friend, Kasey Marino, whom I've not seen in years.  I will email him and check on him.
