BEING A LAZYBONES ON A SUNDAY

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were lazy and written on a Sunday for Monday, and now it is time for you to post until the lazy cows come home.

Thanks also to George, for your comment last night.

What you said is part of why I'm fairly sure one of the new stalker group is the vociferous video guy one from All that Chat.  Lyrics looks like lyrics, and they;re so easy to just skip over.

BK- such fun pictures in the notes!

I'm sort-of hoping that one day, if the timing and venue is right at some point in the future, Mr. Guest will play either Centauri (or maybe your roles of Otis and Grig) in The Last Starfighter musical.    Kind of like Melissa Gilbert playing the mother part in the Prairie musical, or Patty Duke going on to play the adult Annie Sullivan role in Miracle Worker - not the nature of the pieces, of course, just the concept of the one who first played the young characater playing the older character years later.  i think it would work beautifully artistically, and probably commercially.

I keep hearing on the screen front, "Last Starfighter" is coming to TV as "Starfighter Chronicles," but I haven't read any articles about it in the last few months.  Hoping it's still happening.  It'd be good for the musical, of course.

Monday morning greetings!  We are back on the grid.  Our power came back on about 3:30am.

I have a gazillion things to do today before we leave tomorrow for a week in Illinois.  At least we don't have to leave early in the morning, because we'll gain an hour on the drive and Laura won't be home until about 6:30.  We just don't want to be going around Indianapolis too close to rush hour.

TOD

Although it has already been released on DVD. I would like to see a new updated release of the original Lost Horizon on Blu Ray. BK's friend Robert Gitt spent years working on the restoration trying to put the film back to the way it original was originally released. He litterally scoured the world for the "lost footage".

Since the last release more footage was found and with new computer programs I am sure they could make it look even better. So here's hoping to a new release on Blu Ray.

George, I bought a copy of Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone in a box set of Tennessee Williams' movies, but I haven't had a chance to watch it. I don't think I've ever seen the movie all the way through.

I had a long dream that I swore I would not forget when I awoke around 5:30.  Well, what the hell did I dream?

I have a meeting at 10 with the NYMF team, and I need to drop off my edits for the last part of the Guys & Dolls vocal score.  It's going to be hot and rainy today, so I hope the rain and I are not outdoors at the same time.

Every time I post on a subject such as this TOD, someone comes on to tell me that "It's already ON DVD!!!"

So I will have to think and research a bit first.

DR JOHN G I used to have LET'S DANCE on VHS,  I don't remember the songs being very good....and there was an awful dance with Fred Astaire dressed as a cowboy....Betty was....well.....Betty.
