Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a condition that was in better condition, and now it is time for you to post until the conditioned cows come home.

Yesterday, I was told that I will definitely be needed for tonight's rehearsal of Hairspray. :D

And an early one it is.

I am up and at 'em in order to pay an early visit to the car place, then I need to be busy today walking behind a lawn mower and various and sundry fun things like that.

I am shocked, shocked, to hear that this is the last day of June and 2017 is half over.

How did that happen?

TOD:

Last night I watched The Wild One for my first time ever.  Shocking, I know.  Enjoyed it, and sometimes I love catching up on things the rest of humanity has known for years.

I've got two (count 'em) 3-D Blu-rays here that need watching:  Those Redheads From Seattle and A*P*E.  The former sounds like it's going to be something crazy and awful like The Stewardesses or some such, but I'm told it's actually a decent and enjoyable film.  The latter is by all reports the crazy and awful one, only to be enjoyed for its 3-D novelties.

Is Teresa Brewer in THOSE REDHEADS FROM SEATTLE or am I thinking of a different movie?  I didn't know that one was ever in 3-D.

I am green with Jealousie reading about MR BK and DR GEORGE and their theatre activities.....this is the time of year when I am usually covered up with theatre duties and business....and this year: NADA.

Perhaps by August I can be back in the swim....

Perhaps you could be green with Jalousie instead, DR Jrand66.

DR JohnG, I'd like that JAY "Annie Get your Gun" recording better if the Frank Butler were not Barry Bostwick,  I think it's another John Yap miscast.  I wish it were cast with a legit baritone like Jason Howard or my former friend Mr Raines.  I'm also not partial to many of those Lincoln Center 1966 orchestrations/arrangements. The EMI John McGlinn recording with the original 1946 arrangements has more pizzazz, and the 1966 Lincoln Center recording has Ethel.

T.O.D.

Perhaps I will go to Redbox and rent the live action version of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

There are so very few new films out there that are of interest.

DR Jeanne, I like the Dr Blake mysteries, although I do not watch it regularly, as I do with other series.  I also like "Death in Paradise" but it's the complete polar opposite of Dr Bake and nearly all fluff.
