Lovely photos from DR GINNY.

I can see the town fireworks that go the highest over the trees....the event is about a mile and half away.....

Precious is completely uninterested in the noise.....she certainly has no problem with her hearing....she can hear the refrigerator door open two rooms away.....but she is the least curious dog I have ever known.

We went to to the movies to see the latest Pirates movie, Dead Men Tell No Tales, but it was foldout by time we arrived

I like Vanya, but Salesman is not my favorite Miller.

Darling Daughter arrived a bit earlier than expected. We drove around trying to decide on what to eat and where. We drove for about forty minutes before I suggested the Smoke House - we called, it was open, and there we went. She had the shrimp louis, I had fish and chips and a salad and we shared the garlic cheese bread.

We did stop at a Rite Aid - every Rite Aid has been out of my beloved Cherry Chocolate chip prepackaged ice cream, so the Darling Daughter got a cone and I had them hand pack a quart.
