Every time I look at the subject of the day, I think it says, "THE MALTESE THAT WASN'T."

I think that is the title of my next something.

Years ago, when I was bar tending, I had a biker go out to his bike to get his gun to blow me away; because I had cut his drunk friend off.  I went back to the office and called 911 and they made me stay in the back until the cops were inside the bar.  And yes, he did get his gun and was just waiting for me to come back out so he could kill me.

Oh, my goodness!! :o

Well, I did some shopping and bought a couple of pairs of dress pants, a shirt, and some sweat pants for my characters in Hairspray.  I won't take off the tags (or, of course, hem the pants) until I'm able to talk to my fellow actor to see what he is able to bring for me to possible wear.  Also, I need to get the okay from the director and/or costumer.

How did you spend your evening off?

I went shopping at several places, so that took a couple of hours.  When I got home, I started to organize some things for tomorrow's TAO board meeting...which I can't stay too long for.

At work tomorrow, we're having interviews for the collections manager, which is my supervisor.  I'm on a sub-committee, so we won't be asking any really deep and important questions.  We will get about 30-45 minutes with each of the four candidates.  One of them is internal, and the current interim manager.  We (the group that is supervised by that position) really like her and think she'd be GREAT at the position.  She's very knowledgeable and more than competent.

There will be the four interviews throughout the day, then at 5:00, there will be a staff forum where any staff member can come and meet the candidates and hear them answer even more questions.  One question is asked at a time, and all of the candidates answer them off the cuff.

I hope she gets the job.

That's from 5-6, but at 5:30, the TAO board meeting starts.  I can leave the staff forum early, but even then I can't stay for the board meeting.  The band (I think there are about 10 instruments) is having a rehearsal just to play through the music and everyone was encouraged to attend that, which I intend to attend.
