Welcome from the flood headwaters of Indiana.....water is coming into my room.....so that will have to be taken care of.....after the next three days of rain.....

My radiation appointment was changed to 1:15 p.m. so that I would only have to make one trip - my appointment with my oncologist was at 1:40 p.m.

Torrential rain and wind on the way there......getting my imaging done....power goes out.....power stays out.....

Go upstairs in the dark to my doctor's office.....waiting for 45 minutes....no power.....appointments will need to be rescheduled....they will call. Doctor is only in that office on Tuesday.....I wanted to ask what additional chemo he was planning. I can't audition for the Sept. show if I am going to get INCREASED chemo or infusion....

No power downstairs.....will have to add an extra day of radiation to my schedule - which means I will need more chemo pills....

I do not like this day.

I am now, officially, a Daughter of the American Revolution. My sister's genealogy led to Revolutionary patriots on both our father's and mother's sides and she joined DAR 3 years ago. My friend Tina put me in touch with the local chapter, whose registrar says my application was a "piece of cake" compared to some she sees.
