Brush off the clouds and cheer up
Put on a happy face

Take of the gloomy mask of tragedy
It's not your style
You'll look so good that you'll be glad
You decided to smile

Pick out a pleasant outlook
Stick out that noble chin
Wipe off that full-of-doubt look
Slap on a happy grin

And spread sunshine all over the place
And put on a happy face

TOD:
My friend Jan gave me her mac&cheese recipe many years ago. I liked it very much and often made it. My intolerance to dairy put an end to that. To my mind, m&c shouldn't get too complicated; t's best as a simple comfort food.

Hello all:

I think the first time I had Mac and Cheese was true Kraft box type.  My FAVORITE Is my Cousin Joan's Homemade version.  Of course Stouffers is my 2nd favorite!!!

I am now, officially, a Daughter of the American Revolution.  My sister's genealogy led to Revolutionary patriots on both our father's and mother's sides and she joined DAR 3 years ago.  My friend Tina put me in touch with the local chapter, whose registrar says my application was a "piece of cake" compared to some she sees.

Does this mean we have to kiss your ring?

Does anyone know of a way to move something from SoundCloud into another format? I don't pay for that service but would to hear something on it.

Congrats, DR Ginny!

I have two (count 'em) patriots -- researched at great length by a great-aunt, and I have her file and her resulting membership card.

Thanks, DR ChasSmith!  My sister's qualification was expedited by our aunt's membership and mine was very simple.

Hardly, DR Elmore.  It does mean some new contexts in which to spend time with friends.

Anybody going to see Falsettos at the movies this week?

I'd love to, but I couldn't this week, even if it was playing anywhere near me...which it isn't. :(

Dad was supposed to have an EEG this morning but he was bleeding so much internally, from an ulcer and other conditions, that they couldn't do it.

Plus, my sister says his dementia is worsening, all in the past week.

I am absolutely fascinated by all the stupidity and panic going on over the Russian situation today.  It's like watcching a really gory car wreck or one of those driver's training cautionary films.

And do you believe the guy whose name is on the emails is "Mr. Goldstone."

Got your email, Mr. Goldstone
Got the message that you sent to Donald's kid
I can see mail, Mr. Goldstone
That made Mueller flip his lid.

Everybody hitting send
Sound like a campaigning trend
Mr. Goldstone, thanks to you!
