Well, you've read the notes, the notes were fresh, and now it is time for you to post until the fresh cows come home.

TOD:  I get them all mixed up, but there's one that promotes gut-busting shakes, which I gather is a drink and not an exercise.

That one sounds very tempting somehow.

Last night I watched the documentary Common Threads: Tales From The Quilt. I found myself crying as some of the stories were very moving even though I knew the outcome of several of them prior to watching them.

It's supposed to clear up today, with only a slight chance of rain around 1 or 2 pm, and then be totally clear the rest of the day.

We're counting on the Professional Weather Guessers to be right this time, as tonight is our only chance to see this outdoor show.

My news today is that I decided last night to start driving to Cincinnati at dawn's crack on Monday morning for a very quick visit, returning on Thursday.  I was taking a hard look at the calendar and finding that that's my one chance to finally get my "May" visit accomplished.  I'd frankly rather not be doing it now, but I think we all know that family is family and sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.  Oy!

DR Elmore, I'd invite you to ride along if feasible for you, but honestly I need to literally zoom directly into Cincinnati and directly out this time.

Who is a familiar face?

DR GEORGE, that's who!  It says so, right in the newspaper.

And of course there was the time that the local newspaper put MY name before the name of Arthur Miller in describing the upcoming DePauw production of THE  CRUCIBLE......

I wish I could take advantage of the trip, but I cannot leave Manhattan until after Aug. 1 when this NYMF show is finished.

I have not seen Val so I am still waiting news on the fallout of this elevator fine.  I've seen no signs of any elevator crew checking out the mess.

Today I will lay out the number "This Is How we Serve the Tea," which sounds like it could be a cut number from Pacific Overtures.

Saturday morning greetings!  Yesterday was kind of mixed up for me, not in a bad way, but mixed up nevertheless.  I had a 9am appointment for fasting blood work and a 10am art journaling class in Centerville, so I had my delayed coffee and breakfast while driving.  I was at the art store until almost 2pm, so I ate lunch late.  We had dinner at our regular time, so I wasn't very hungry then.  In the midst of all the mix-up, I never turned on my computer and missed checking in here.

I slept very fitfully last night, due mostly to a very weird dream involving my mother.

So, I finally gave in and got up about 6:30 and promptly had a nosebleed.

So, I may have mentioned that my cardiologist, as expected, ordered a routine stress test for me.  It's scheduled for Monday morning and I was just looking at the paperwork to check on the dietary restrictions.  The doctor's office gave me 2 copies of my own "Imaging Orders Request Routing Slip" and one copy of someone else's.

HIPPA violation, much?
