I finally got the title and registration of the car transferred to Texas. It cost close to $700 and I'm still not really done. In Texas, the license plate has to be on the front and back of the car. In Kentucky, only on the back. So, there's no place on the front to put the second license plate. I have to take it to a Honda dealer and hopefully they can get it ready.

Well, it's time for me to leave work and do something.  I feel like there was something that I wanted to buy at Fred Meyer, but I can't remember what.  I hate it when that happens. :P

Anyway, be back later.

John G, my former exercise instructor used to swear by a hot bath with epsom salts. The magnesium in the epsom salts relaxes the muscles.

Vibes your back feels better pronto!

Jane, did you get the real crown today or just the temporary? I'm glad the dentist was able to see you so quickly.

I will have someone with me, I'm sure DR JANE.  I may have to take a trip to the bathroom if I'm going to be there 4 hours....LOL.....

It's a new adventure on my way to health!

Here is a YouTube video that approximates my radiation treatment very closely.....the whole session lasts about 15 minutes....so it's sped up for the video....and of course I have some lovely ladies assisting me instead of that guy....

Viewing is not necessary - but I thought some might be interested.

Jack, you have a very good attitude.

I think videos like this one are helpful. Part of the fear is not knowing what we might be facing. Seeing others go through it makes it less intimidating.

I'm on an I'm Still Here binge today. So far, I've heard Edie Adams, Christine Baranski, Dolores Gray, Anna Kendrick and Polly Bergin. Any other not obvious interpretations?

...the failed IV attempt...

Failed IV attempts are never pleasant. Glad it worked.

Dad had his second attempt at an EEG this morning. They did some biopsies. No results on anything yet but it was much better than last week.

Glad to hear it. I hope it continues to be a bit easier.

DR John I hope you return from the doctor with good news.

They believe it is a sprain, which I have never done before. Still, I'm getting an x-ray and physical therapy twice a week.

Time and PT should help.  What about ice and/or hear?  I am partial to the soothing affect of heat.

Just the temporary.   I have an appointment on the 27th for the permanent crown.

Another problem of getting old is having friends who have retirement or medical issues and have no other friends (or family) that can advise them.

I am not an expert, but I worked with the state medical programs for 28 years, so I can offer suggestions.

With the friend I was talking to this evening, it isn't her, but her sister that is having the medical problems.
