Thanks DR ELMORE & DR JENNIFER.  The vibes are working!

The other day, Amber one of my beautiful radiation technicians pulled my pants down and said:  "You got new glasses...."

That made me laugh....and I said:  "Yes....up here!"

She can see that by looking at your butt?  Ask her to look down your throat and tell you the color of your underwear.

Isn't that always the way it is? I still can't figure out the remote, though, and I don't want to spend any time learning it.

My dryer has a steam option I have never bothered with.  I should as it is suppose to reduce the wrinkles in the clothes.

From the internet:

Tempus edax rerum. That wise Latin line by the Roman poet Ovid translates as "Time, the devourer of all things." Ovid's correlation between rapaciousness and time is appropriate to a discussion of "edacious." That English word is a descendant of Latin edax, which is a derivative of the verb edere, meaning "to eat." In its earliest known English uses, edacious meant "of or relating to eating." It later came to be used generally as a synonym of "voracious," and it has often been used specifically in contexts referring to time. That's how Scottish essayist and historian Thomas Carlyle used it when he referred to events "swallowed in the depths of edacious Time.

DR JANE we have a steam feature, too.  I doubt that we will use it.  Time will tell.

My sister's boyfriend loves ballet.  I wonder if he'd like this.  His birthday is this month (earlier this week, I think ::) ).  If it was, I missed it because of Hairspray.

The last day I worked before the vacation days that would take me to retirement, I was assigned to a reference desk the last hour of the day.  Coincidence?  I think not.

Hang in there, DR Ron!

I so wanted to be done with everything and moved out by August 15th.  Now, it looks more like September 15th.

Sigh.

Will try for end of August.  It's a push, but I'm hoping my first week of retirement will see me through it.
