I think it was Ginny who asked...we went to Book of Mormon...generally at Christmas Vuxdad gets me a ticket to a show or  two.  Since  he's not a big fan and sInce prices have skyrocketed he gets me single tickets and I usually try to meet up with a friend or two or three before or after the show.   He bought me a ticket for  BoM and has been lamenting every time he sees the commercial on TV  that he didn't join me

When I discovered that there were front row enter mezzanine seats (his location of choice) available for the matinee on  his actual birthday a few  months ago I snatched them up and I have been keeping it a deep dark secret ever since

So, the barihunk Billy Budd appears to be THE major requirement now for the role.  I always thought I could lead our former DR Michael Barnum to opera with Billy Budd!

Did Josh Logan direct?

I have a question about Book of Mormon.  Is it completely inappropriate for kids (aged 12 and 14?).  I know that it is raunchy. And I could not believe that my mom said that her friend's daughter is taking her 12 and 14 year olds to the show.

DR Elmore glad that your elevator is working.

DR Ginny, sorry to hear about your mother's fall.

Thanks, DR Jennifer!  I find my preoccupation over its repair was taking too much of my mental activity. On Friday, while they tinkered away at it and the 15-minute repair estimation stretched into hours, my fretting over it was really blocking my thought processes.

I hope her friend doesn't have to explain "there are maggots in my scrotum" to them!  I'm happy that people like the show, but I found it raunchy and tasteless after that wonderful "Hello" opening number.  I hated it.  The little synthesized orchestra did nothing for it at all.

I'm down to five numbers for the drums part.  I'm quite happy about that.

Of course it depends on the maturity of the kids, Jennifer. I think I was too mature for the show. I laughed twice.

Getting ready to usher for an open house at the theater. I hope my hip can take it.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  My husband and Rob's wife went to their respective churches and Rob went to breakfast with a high school friend who's visiting from out of town.  Everyone's home now and Richard and I are about to have lunch.

Last night, we watched MY FELLOW AMERICANS with Jack Lemmon, James Garner and the recently departed John Heard, who was hilarious.

The movie holds up very well.

I recall enjoying the movie and it might be more fitting to day than when it was first released.

I would not recommend this show for anyone under 16

This is good news.  The credit card company has refunded my unauthorized $34.99 charge.

That's great!

I just found out yesterday that a check that a patron wrote to see TAO's 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche a couple of weeks ago has bounced! >:( So, we lost the original $30 amount for the two tickets, plus a $10 fee AND another $5 fee!  WHF??

I haven't seen it, but I'm sure I'm immature enough for it.
