I sort of resent that they've named this hurricane "Harvey".

HARVEY was the first stage play I ever saw.  I was five-years-old, and I still remember moments from it, particularly star Joe E. Brown.

Now, that wonderful memory is sullied.

I think my pre-flight jitters are settling in for the next two days. I look forward to my visit, but I really hate the actual ordeal of travel, from packing to boarding the plane.

Always stressful but much worse since 911.

Do you like the movie?  After some time has past watching the film, or reading the story,  should bring back those good memories.

So far I have gotten up showered dressed, cooked breakfast, cleaned the kitchen, driven to Queens, conducted a closing, and driven back to Suffolk

Saturday afternoon greetings!  We got to do some more hymn-singing with more Methodists this morning at another funeral.  This time it was for a man who belonged to our former church here in Middletown for 60 years.  He and his late wife were both in the choir and she was very tolerant when I sat behind her.

Love the movie.

My dear friend, Marian Hailey, a fellow Drama student back at the U of Washington, played the daughter in the Broadway revival with Jimmy Stewart and Helen Hayes.

The power has gone off several times this morning, but comes back a 2-3 seconds later.  Thank God for surge protectors.

Were you able to the Broadway revival?

So, other than Druxy saying it's raining, how bad has Hurricane Harvey been?  Did it achieve its "four" warning?  Is it over?

Yesterday, I signed an actor to do the audio version of my one-person play, GABLE.

He sounds just like "The King".

Congrats, Druxy!
