NOTES ON A PERFECTLY REASONABLE DAY
« on: September 10, 2017, 12:00:37 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were perfectly reasonable, and now it is time for you to post until the perfectly reasonable cows come home.

BK, I am glad you warned me about WHATEVER HAPPENED TO MONDAY.  I have been debating whether or not to watch it.  Now I think I'll pass.

What an awful, awful movie.  I do like Noomi, all seven of her.  Willem Dafoe probably worked one or two days and is third-billed, and Glenn Close probably worked three days at most - she has about ten minutes of screen time, probably.  I kept waiting for someone to shout out "Soylent Green is people."  Oh, and of course we get the obligatory vomit scene, many scenes of people's heads being blown apart by gunfire, and a sex scene.

I finished my book.  If I don't fall asleep soon I suppose I shall begin reading a new one.

The storm is just about 40 miles off the Jeys and already nearly 319,000 without power

I have been checking with all my friends in Florida on an ongoing basis. So far so good. But that was yesterday. I hate to see what today will bring.

I am feeling puny.   Around 11:00 last night, my stomach started bothering me.  I slept poorly and made too many bathroom trips last night.  I believe I will spend much of my day in bed.

Hi all.  As of 10:25AM everything is still ok.  It's raining but not hard--yet.  I'm as ready as I can be.  Thankful that I thought to do all of my laundry which ensures I will have plenty of clean underwear.  I'm sure I will be changing it severeal times when the storm gets here. ;)

A day off for me, during which so far I've done little but keep an eye on hurricane news.

Not much else to report.

If the cell towers stop working it might be awhile before news gets through which is frustrating.

I'm off in a little while to usher for the Scottish Opera. Is it OK to say Macbeth backstage if you're singing?
