And those were the highlights of my Thursday.

Tomorrow I need to be up early.

I am meeting my friend, Diane, for breakfast in Olympia.

And we are going to meet at the Budd Bay Cafe.

Both DR George and I have eaten there in recent weeks.

[TCB]

My friend has always wanted to try the breakfasts, so that is our plan.

[TCB]

I can't believe tomorrow is Friday.

[TCB]

This week, the days have all been mixed up.

[TCB]

It got up to 74 degrees today.

[TCB]

And tomorrow, it is supposed to be up to 73 degrees.

[TCB]

But that may be the end of our days in the seventies.

[TCB]

Next week is all days in the Sixties.

[TCB]

And possibly a little rain.

[TCB]

Still all alone in the world.

[TCB]

Even my 1 guest has left the building.

Not only is MBarnum not here anymore (he lives only on Facebook now and left for a silly reason having to do with another dear reader), but today on Facebook he amusingly did what we do here and have done here since day one - a topic of the day.  I had to say something, oh, yes, I had to say something - he admitted it.

Next week is all days in the Sixties.

I am ready for the temps to stop dropping.

The smoke returned this afternoon and the sun looked rorange again.

[Jane]

The smoke blocked the warmth of the sun and I felt a bit chilly in my summer clothes.

And now, I must go!  My friend Margo are going to have dinner at Red Robin, then go see two movies shown by the Olympia Film Society:  The Big Sick, and Brigsby Bear.

Well, we saw "The Big Sick" and really enjoyed it.  It's based on Kumail Nanjiani's real life story and how he met his wife and shortly thereafter had a medical condition that put her in the hospital where they had to put her in a medically induced coma.  It was funny and touching and sad and ultimately uplifting.  Highly recommended.
