Chris Hendrie has completed his magnificent performance as Spencer Tracy for the audio production of my one-person play, TRACY

Once it goes through all the technical stuff at ACX (a 10-14 day process), the play will be available for download.

My one-person plays: GABLE, LOMBARD, FLYNN and RATHBONE are currently in production and should be available for holiday giving.

Re: Indiegogo....as BK knows, I'm not averse to investing.  However, I have not bought a vehicle in more than 24 years and now find I'm likely going to need to procure a pickup truck.  New is better than used, and pickups are seldom "used" if they are worth having.  So...am treading lightly financially until I know what I'll be getting.

Will be keeping my eye out, however, for future perk announcements.

It's a lovely morning in Johnston SC.  Gonna be hot today.  A cool spell starts overnight.

Larry, did you do any shows with Howard Philips?

Yes.
Rodgers & Hart
The Fantasticks
Trial By Jury

I thought he might play play Captain Macheath in The Beggar's Opera, but he was busy.  He did come to every performance of the opera.

Friday morning greetings...

DR Ginny, today is the 25th anniversary of the death of our friend Howard Philips.  He was 41, a talented singer and actor, and he died far too young.

A huge loss, way too soon.

I worked on all of those shows, either in the cast or as DR Elmore's rehearsal assistant (my favorite job!).

I'm still working on the Ripoff Laundromat idea.

"Mr. Ripoff, is this your place of business?"

"Yes, it is, but it's pronounced Ripe-off."

Even though he died so young, it's so good to have happy memories to celebrate what he did while he was alive.

Tonight I'm meeting my friend Rebecca at the Fairfield Community Arts Center for the Footlighters' production of VANITIES.  She and I saw this play together at Cincinnati's Showboat Majestic in 1977.  One of the cast members was a College Conservatory of Music student named Faith Prince.  She was the UC commencement speaker when Rob graduated.

Mt bedding is down the street at the Ripoff Laundromat.  The first machine jammed the coins so I had to move to another washer. Then the larger washer, which held the comforter and bedspread, required 30 quarters, but the coins kept jamming and I would swear that I actually inserted 32-33 quarters.  I may call the better business bureau.

Personally, I would never go to a place that calls itself the "Ripoff Laundromat."
