Had a really good stumble-through save for one singer misremembering the start time - so she ran her two numbers for everyone at the end. But the structure is really good and it's a whole lot of fun.

Then it was dinner with Grant Geissman, mostly to discuss the potential house rental. At one point this was a very easy decision, but it has, in fact, become much more complicated and difficult. I shall ponder.

The drive in was horrible . Minutes before I was due to leave vixdad and I each received a flash flood warning on our phones

Nonetheless I was approaching the LIE exit for Van Dam Street which is the way to the 59th Street Feelin' Groovy, Koch no damn toll bridge when suddenly traffic came to a complete halt.

Then it started creeping slowly as cars veered off to the left.

And there were lots of flashing red lights so I grabbed the EZ pass out if the glove compartment stuck in the windshield and veered left away from the LAST exit and committed myself to taking the midtown tunnel and paying the damn toll

There's normally 2 lanes inbound and. 2 outbound

They closed the outbound tunnel

So there was only. 1 lane in each direction in what is usually the inbound tunnel. Anti get there. 3 lanes had to merge into 1. Which then had to merge wth another lane a little further on before the tunnel entrance

This of course was effortless and quick Since as you all well know New York drivers (including the myriad cabs and busses and trucks) ar well known as being the epitome of courteous and thoughtful drivers
