Well, you've read the notes, the notes were designed and ran, and now it is time for you to post until the designer cows come home.

I am pleased to announce that the audio edition of my play, LOMBARD, is now available for download at audible.com., Amazon and iTunes. Kathleen Godwin delivers a moving performance as Carole Lombard in this production of my original stage play, which has been enhanced with music and sound effects.

It certainly was warm last night.  I kept the heat off all day yesterday and through the night, which was perfect.  A little cool in the house this morning, so it’s on for a little while to take the chill off.  I think it gets cold again tonight.

TOD

Hardly anything all week.  I did watch the beautiful new Arrow release of John Carpenter’s THE THING the other night.  Actually, I guess it was Carpenter Week because I’d also seen his VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED a couple of days earlier.  Though nothing will ever match the John Wyndham novel and the original film, I’m one of the six people who really enjoy his version.

TOD:

Season Two of The Durrells in Corfu has arrived. If I have time I’ll watch the episodes I haven’t seen yet.

Started listening to the second disc of that Cole Porter set. Great stuff from Peggy Lee, Dinah Washington and even Frank Sinatra. The comes Harry Lanin with a track called Anything Goes. It’s actually an 8-minute medley with Just on Time, I Could Have Danced All Night, a lot of Rodgers and Hammerstein and, oh yeah, one chorus of Anything Goes.

This morning, the bread attracted around 6-8 pigeons to the fire escape.  I thought Annabelle would die from ecstasy.  She went crazy, flipping on her back and rolling around the window sill, then hopping up to run from window to window to watch the birds.  She's never dull.

I'm up, I'm up and have been up since nine.  Did an event page for Levi.  Then the helper's husband came by and the book room is now shorn of all its bookcases.  He's meeting Grant at the new house and all the shelves there will be put in THAT book room.  Then I'll figure out if I want any other shelves anywhere else in the house.  We'd planned for some in the bedroom but I'm not at all sure I want any there.

I am back from City Center.

I lost the orange kitten.  The agency tells me he was adopted ages ago and they do not know why his photo is still up.  I appear to be the Typhoid Mary of cat adoptions.
