I hope to bring the average age of the Levi audience down a little from 103.  My California friends and I will be attending the last performance (December 2).  Looking forward to the show and seeing you, BK!

This is great news.  I am sure you will enjoy the show.

I spent a couple hours today trying to obtain credit card information and doing comparisons. Since I will be spending a lot of $$$ on the dental work I want to get the maximum number of rewards points on my credit card. I can't believe how horrible some phone trees are. One kept asking for the last four digits of my card. What? I haven't applied yet! Then there are the reps you cannot understand. You all know what this is like. I never did get all my questions answered, but I applied for a new card anyway. I'll be canceling an older one shortly.

I have read cancelling a card is bad for your credit rating and that you should just keep the card and not use it.  I know it is stupid but I have seen this many times.  You might want to check it out.

Strange things on EBAY.

I did a random search for WILL THERE REALLY BE A MORNING? which is the title of the "autobiography" of Frances Farmer, actually written by her friend Jeanira Ratcliffe.....

One of the items was a copy of the script for the TV Movie of the same name from 1983.....which was credited to writer Dalene Young.  The front page of the script has Jean's name and Indianapolis address on it.

I knew she had written a version of the book as a film....and Charles Bronson was interested in it as a project for his wife Jill Ireland.  Both their names are written on the outside of the envelope as are the names of a couple of agents....

No inside pages were shown on the listing....it was $44.  I bought it, I think I will soon have a copy of Jean's OWN version of the book she wrote and put Frances' name on.....

We shall see.

DR John does this mean you did not have a kidney stone?

I have a 3-cm stone on the kidney not near the tract.

Jane is right. There’s a story in USA Today about that very subject.

DR John even though it isn't near the tract will the surgeon remove it when removing the mass?

I did not get enough exercise in the last few days.  I just quickly marched around here for 3,000 steps to add to my count for the day.  I forgot to run the stairs in the building today so I really needed it.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Skip!  I printed them out and will give them to him.

We ended up doing Haru's Japanese for birthday lunch and Virgil's BBQ for birthday dinner.  Skip (of course) baked a great cake for us for his own birthday, and our company didn't want any cake, so more for us, and some left for tomorrow!  Skip also got a chocolate fruit arrangement form Edible Arrangements, which we shared, though Liam didn't get any.

Poor Liam, no chocolate but I expect he had other treats.

What was the cake Skip baked?

A lemon cake with a mixed berry butter cream, and a mixed berry puree on top and mixed berry garnish.  Delicious!

We had one of those single-track ball toys for the cats, and I'm trying to remember who played with it and who didn't.  I think that must have been a long time ago.  Don't know if it's even still around.  Maybe it's time to get another one for the current crop.

Well, it’s a double Cynar on the rocks kind of evening. Forgot how much I like this artichoke flavor.

Just finished Holiday Inn. Meh. Corbin Bleu had another fun number, the firecracker dance on the Fourth of July, and that was about it.

I am sorry did you say "the company didn't want any cake"?!!

This baffles the imagination, especially as I have now seen photographic evidence of said  cake .   Please feel free to box up and mail their slices, I trust you have my address
