Good morning.

Nothing to report this morning, except that I am baking some date nut bread. I still have seven pounds of dates from the produce boxes I got a couple weeks ago.

When I returned home, Thatch, Annabelle, and I had a 3-way game of fishie on a pole.  Annabelle jumps on top of Thatch's cage and sits in an aluminum backing pan, trying to catch the fish, and keeping an eagle eye on the baby.  After we stoped playing, Joshie called and while we were talking, I saw Thatch stretch himself up, hold the top bars of the cage with one front paw while he tried to pet Annabelle with the other.  Since he usually runs from her, I call this MAJOR PROGRESS!

Thursday morning greetings!  Cold & gloomy here in SW Ohio today.  This afternoon I'm going to do a major step in the wrapping up of Mom's affairs and then deliver a carload of holiday bazaar leftovers to Rev. Amy's church for their bazaar, which is Saturday.

I like dates stuffed with blue cheese or goat cheese and wrapped in bacon.

I like them stuffed with pecan halves and rolled in powdered sugar...

Keep on with the date suggestions. I have a lot to use up.

TOD - 20 and, yes, we see him and his husband every time we're in New York...

It's funny -- when I made date bread earlier, my daughter refused to even try it. My husband made a face before he tasted it and then declared he didn't like it.

They also refused the zucchini bread, although they did try the chocolate zucchini bread when I promised it wouldn't taste like zucchini.

Mom used dates almost any time dried fruit wS called for.

There is a 2-cm mass on the right kidney. It will need to be removed. Don’t know when. Don’t know nothing yet. Am at the doctor’s office, waiting for an ultrasound.

Doctor is not worried. He said it should be just like the last time.

Last time I was back to work in two weeks.

Here's a new turn of events:  Thatch is now stretching up to the top of the cage to scratch on Annabelle's amazon box for her attention!  Then, he sits on his blanket, looking up at the box, waiting for her response.  She prefers to sleep.

Doctor is not worried. He said it should be just like the last time.

At least there's some new information.  I'm happy the Dr is not worried about it.  Just get well.
