I met get back to prepping my TDay dishes. I am bringing mashed taters and my sherry butter garlic mushrooms to dinner as well as wine, a chocolate cornucopia packed with fancy cookies and a mixed berry pie

Thanksgiving morning greetings!  At least it’s still morning here in Illinois.  We’re still at the hotel watching the parade and will soon head over to Laura’s, where I will have the rare experience of walking into the aroma of a roasting turkey.  Usually, I’m already there...

It turns out that my friend Tif Luckenbill (who has a brother named Toph) toured with David Cassidy in BB (Blood Brothers).  Tif played Eddie and understudied David as Mickey.....

Two years in a row, since moving here, we have had two invites for Thanksgiving.  This year none, which is actually fine with us as we do not want to stuff ourselves.  I do miss stuffing on Thanksgiving.

At 76+++ years old, I'm still in relatively good heath.

When we moved to Ashland Keith decided he wanted to switch sides with me.  After all those years it felt odd but it worked. In this house I decided to stay on the same side.  Away from home we pick which side we sleep on depending on the room.

Free HBO this weekend.  I've already set about 10-12 movies to record.

That is something to be thankful for.  We have been without heat in the cold of winter far too many times to count.

I am very grateful that 8 years ago today I had an excellent surgeon.  I just wish the pain in my shoulder didn't keep reminding me of this fact
