Back from an excellent matinee - much better energy. And a rather large house for a Thursday matinee - over 100 people, including some wonderful high school students who were in. We got another nitpicky review - I find this very surprising, actually, especially this reviewer who routinely raves about every single thing he sees - but this he nitpicks - as a few others have. He has his favorites, though, and there's no fighting that. He was fine to me and our leading man and a few other cast members, but nitpicky about the piece itself. And wrong, I may add.

But this is an audience show and LA critics are just not worth listening to anyway, save for Rob here, but even he nitpicked this. I'm very proud of just about everything that's up on that stage. There's one sequence that isn't working or landing as it should, although two critics really liked it - but it's not what I had in my head and I'm not sure what I had in my head actually would work even if it was done as I envisioned it. So, I may rethink that if we do the show again.
