Silly me, I thought I had to wait around from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the inspection.  It is actually, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Silly, silly you, indeed.

Monday afternoon greetings!  I've been to the nearby Presbyterian church for Middletown Current Events Club's annual Christmas luncheon.  Our entertainment was Purple Pizazz, the Middletown High School show choir.  They did their Christmas show and one number from this season's competition show, which has a "reality TV" theme.  They're very cute and energetic.

I think the Hallmark Chanel film that DR Jane watched last night was produced by my friend Sam Irvin.  He does a lot of those.

Around 1982, Sam wisely turned me down to write a film score because I had no sound studio experience.  That sent me to work with Ben Bagley as a copyist and orchestrator so I could hang out at recording sessions.

He directed it.

I just had a miserable experience at Best Buy.

They need to train their people better.

Maybe it is extra holiday help.  We are usually pleased with the staff.

Jane, I wished I had known that you were staying up at the airport, I would have suggested that you eat at 13 Coins.

Elmore, over on castrecl, someone asked a question about Josh. Don’t know if you saw it. I only get the one daily update.

I forwarded the Castrecl email to him.

We didn't want to walk in the rain last night.   Breakfast might have worked and then we would have asked if you were free, but then you would have had to cancel to stay home for this rude timeframe you have been given.

Medicine vibes for DK Thatch!

Thanks, DR TCB!  I deliberately stayed home from City Center today just to pick up the prescription, so the whole situation is irritating.  Even if Dr Mohr is sick, she could still check her emails.

I went shopping for a microwave since I was given a Best Buy gift card.  I wandered around that store at Lincoln Center forever, and not one clerk asked me if I needed help.  When I realized I would get no help, I could have stolen one easily and walked out with it.  I was so pissed about the wasted time in that store that I went home and bought it online.  I will never shop there again.

I found the same at the Best Buy near me. No wonder it’s on the list of places that may not be in busy much longer.

I had the same experience at the Men's Wearhouse here in town.  I went there because it is the only store in this backwater town that sells dress shirts with a French cuff.  There were more clerks than customers in the store, yet not one person came over to offer assistance.  The shirts in my size were too high up for me to reach in my chair, but no one wanted the sale.   I assume that it was either my wheelchair or the way I was dressed that kept the clerks from recognizing my existence.   I left and I swear that I will never shop there again.

That's terrible!  But before you totally give up on them, send them an e-mail.  You might be surprised how much you can get in coupons and deals when they try to rectify the situation.  Couldn't hurt.  And if you're still not satisfied, you still don't have to go back.  Just a thought.

Sorry about that.  Sometimes I do have to ask for assistance from someone that is with a customer and then they call for help.

Send a comp, ait, or do so on their Facebook page if they have one.

I have walked 8 1/2 miles before leaving for the airport.  We needed this since it will be 2 days before we can have a proper walk again.

I think the 1st flight is 14 hours and the second one is 8 hours.

Wow, Keith went into our local one dressed for the gym and got very good service, but then I was with him looking decent ;)
