I was surprised by the Peter Martins allegations. When I worked with him in 1973 at Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival, my impression was that he was the sort who would spend their time nude in front of mirror.

This morning I have things to do about the apartment: the litter box, some vacuuming, tidying up, and Annabelle's new medicine, which I have to grind into a pulp, dissolve in water, and administer with a syringe. Thatch's eyes are getting better, and I've already accomplished that, thank God. Chasing him down is a chore.

Lately, like over this past year, all of my dreams with music -- which I guess is most of them, the major exceptions being the epic fantastical ones running the gamut of subjects -- consist exclusively of music from whatever show I'm currently doing. And it's a different song every night. Last three shows, without fail. There's still some kind of a dream, but nothing major, and the song becomes part of the "process" of whatever's happening.

Off the top of my head, aside for a couple of mini-series (BETTE & JOAN, THE MENEDEZ BROTHERS), I can't think of any NEW TV shows that I like. Still sticking with all the Dick Wolf series, plus BLUE BLOODS and MAJOR CRIMES, which will probably end soon.

Annabelle just jumped on Thatch, held him down and started cleaning him while he screamed. He got away, turned around and cuffed her, then ran up to the second level of the cat tree. She followed, and he turned and cuffed her again.

A minute later they're eating out of the same food dish. Salmon this morning. Yum!
