I am seeing many pictures of snow. I personally am so happy that I am able to still wear my shoes outside. It did flurry a bit today. But the ground is still dry. Fingers crossed it stays this way. Normally I am wearing boots in December.

I've received two phone calls from 607-247-0359 today. "They" claim to be the IRS and there's a warrant out for my arrest. When I called them nacl and told them they were frauds, they hung up on me.

I've got Annabelle looking for good file-in-cake recipes, but she keeps jumping from "cake" to "cat food" and telling me what she wants for dinner.

Poor Thatch is so conflicted. He loves being held and he purrs and relaxes, yet he's also terrified of me because I torture him. He's not even too resistant when I clean his eyes, perhaps it's a comfort, but he sure hates the Erythromycin.

We had the apartment inspection today. The owner, along with her favorite plumber and handyman, were here. They were more thorough than I expected. My kitchen ceiling is quite a mess. There were some leaks, which were repaired promptly, but the inside was never repaired, and I was concerned that I'd have to move out in order for the repairs to be made. She suggested an approach which won't look good, but it'll be less disruptive for me, so I'm all for it. All in all, it went better than I expected.

Housing prices here are horrible and I did NOT look forward to looking for new digs. Ugh!

Afterwards, I took myself out to lunch for Bruce's birthday. I'd offered to take him out today until I learned that they'd scheduled the inspection. As he told you, I'll take him out next week.

I simply had to stop in and wish our very own Dear BK a happy, happy, happy (that’s 3 happy) Birthday!!!!!! Without him I never would have met all the wonderful people I am so proud and happy to call my friends. I hope you had a wonder filled day!
